Pastor Matthew continues our "Blessed Life" series this week with a lesson in Kingdom Economics. We're unpacking parables and lessons from Luke 12, and focusing in on verse 48: "From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, even more will be expected." By recognizing the resources we've been given and responding with responsibility and generosity, we align ourselves with God's expectations, using our blessings to bless others. Delve into this enlightening sermon and be inspired by Jesus' profound teachings, guiding us toward deeper love and faith through bold generosity.

A Bird's Eye View | The Blessed Life | Keegan Velasquez
Monday Jun 03, 2024
Monday Jun 03, 2024
Pinewood Worship Leader, Keegan Velasquez, continues our series on generosity and finances this week. In this sermon, we delve into Matthew 6:19-24 to uncover three essential principles Jesus teaches us: the Principle of Two Treasures, the Principle of Two Eyes, and the Principle of Two Masters. We learn that where our treasure is, our heart follows; that a generous eye fills our life with light; and that we cannot serve both God and money. Ultimately, adopting an eternal perspective transforms our approach to life, guiding us to seek first the Kingdom of God and trust in His provision.

The Seed, The Owner & The Harvest | The Blessed Life | Parker Manuel
Tuesday May 28, 2024
Tuesday May 28, 2024
We are starting a new series this week called “The Blessed Life” where we explore the profound blessings and joy that we get to experience in living lives built around serving God. This week, we are talking about money. 16 out of the 29 parables Jesus told refer to money. Money can fill your life, but it’s never meant to fulfill your life. Jesus talks so much about money not because He’s after it, but because He cares deeply about your heart. Our motivation to give should be rooted in our love and trust in God, not in seeking blessings, as we learn from both the Old and New Testaments. Follow along to learn how we can sow generously and witness God’s amazing harvest in our lives!

Monday May 13, 2024
Pastor Jess continues our Relationships series this Mother’s Day with a heartfelt and inspiring message. We’re looking back to the Old Testament, where Hannah, the mother of Samuel, prayed “The Hardest Prayer a Mama Prays.” Struggling with barrenness, Hannah asked God for a child, and prayed from a place of security in her faith, with affection, and towards surrender. God granted her request, and her son Samuel became a prophet and judge over Israel. Join us in learning how we can grow in our walk with Jesus, and help our children by leading them towards the Lord.

If You Want My Heart | Relationships | Parker Manuel
Sunday Apr 21, 2024
Sunday Apr 21, 2024
Do you think you know your heart? 'The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives.' That's Jeremiah 17:9-10 revealing our reality! Exploring the heart's role in our lives and relationships, we confront the dilemma of whether we lead our hearts or they lead us. In this second week of our Relationships series, we learn to check, surrender, hide, and guard our hearts, ultimately committing them wholly to God's guidance and truth.
